Booking A Tutor

Here’s how to get started:

1) Fill out the Inquiry Form or Call us at 905-510-4228

2) We will assess the needs of your child through a consultation by phone or email. Some of the common questions parents/caregivers ask are located on the How It Works page – click here

3) The information provided by you during the consultation will be used to select a tutor that meets the criteria you are looking for. We do our absolute best to find the most appropriate match for your child’s needs.

4) One we have found a tutor for your child, the tutor will call you directly to set up a schedule that is convenient for you.

5) You will receive a monthly invoice by email, where we have several payment options to choose from. You will receive the first one-hour tutoring session absolutely free with NO obligation.

Beyond the Classroom Policies

We understand that you are busy and issues arise at the last minute, below are Beyond the Classroom’s policies:

1) There is no administrative fee like most tutoring centres

2) We do not require a deposit before the tutoring sessions begin

3) You do not need to purchase a package of sessions in advance, just use the tutoring services that you need.

4) You will be billed for 50% of the tutoring session if notice of cancellation is not given more than 24 hours in advance by email or telephone call to your tutor.

5) You will be billed for 100% of the tutoring session if the tutor arrives at your home or designated meeting location and you are not present within 15 minutes of the scheduled tutoring session.

6) We require payment of invoices within 30 days of email receipt. Invoices not paid within 30 days will accrue an interest charge of 2 % per month.

7) We will charge a $50 NSF fee for all dishonored cheques payable immediately.
